Geoscience for Energy Transition

The Department of Sciences of the University of Basilicata, Italy, in cooperation with Eni S.p.A., the Tempa Rossa joint venture (Mitsui E&P Italia B S.r.l., Shell Italia E&P S.p.A, TotalEnergies S.p.A) and ARPA Basilica, promotes the second edition of the one year-long, II level master course.

Master course

The GET master course is designed to offer a high quality training to young professionals and new graduates in the geoscience disciplines related to energy production, renewables and environmental protection and monitoring. The GET master course of the Basilicata University is linked to the presence of the most important oil fields of continental Europe in the Basilicata Region of Italy, the exploitation of which is taking place while the world is rapidly moving towards a transition to renewables and carbon-free societies. The GET master course provides a unique opportunity to expand the scientific background and acquire new technical skills in the fields of geo resources production and environmental sustainability.
